Week three has been marked by continued growth and development. We close out the week with 13 healthy pups, all of whom are walking and have completely opened their eyes. The best part? They are becoming vocal; barks, growls, whining, and howling, it’s great. Not many things match the sound of 13 Cane Corso puppies "singing" all at the same time… Cooperation from these pups is a rarity.
Luxe continues to slowly take a step back and from the pups. She has reduced the amount of time she spends cleaning the pups and increased the amount of time and distance she spends away from them. While she continues to nurse them, we are getting closer to starting them on “puppy mash.” The pups will also be moved into a larger area very soon.
Just as in the past, we have provided a few pics of the pups while we still can. In the coming weeks, as the pups become more and more mobile, it will be much more of a challenge to capture them on camera. Because of this, we will likely change from stills to short videos of the pups, up until the time picks are made. We hope you enjoy the pictures. As you can see, some are more "cooperative" than others....
